With the v2.0.11 release of Gedshow there is now the ability to display an In Memoriam widget. This widget can be placed in any widget area and it displays a configurable number of people with their death dates within the next month (or so). It shows the name and their full date of death as recorded in the database.
As you can see from the above screenshot it is now possible to display a coloured background on the widgets. This background colour is preset and is pink for birth, green for marriage and grey for death. It is set in the widget configuration in the same way that the number of individuals for display is set.
